Goodluckans 2027

Hope · Care · Opportunity

We are Goodluckans — a worldwide community of supporters, admirers and friends of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. We are not a political party. We are a movement of conscience, carrying forward the values that defined his presidency: peace, humility, democratic restraint, and unshakable belief in young Africans.

Hope

Restoring belief in Nigerian and African leadership through service and humility.

Care

A diaspora family — looking after our youth, our communities, and one another.

Opportunity

Scholarships, mentorship, civic-tech, peace forums and creative platforms for the next generation.

Founders & Stewards

Founded by Goodluckans, for Goodluckans.

Goodluckans was founded by a coalition of Nigerian diaspora leaders, youth organizers, and civic technologists across Lagos, London, Toronto, Houston and Johannesburg in service of the ideals championed by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

The movement is stewarded in partnership with chapters affiliated to NIDO, CANUK, CANCA and university unions worldwide, and aligns with the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation's youth and peace programs.

Manifesto

"My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian."

That single sentence — spoken in concession in 2015 — is the founding principle of Goodluckans. Service above self. Nation above name. Peace above power.
